Mr Singh is pleased to announce that he has been able to restart his face to face outpatient clinics and his endoscopy lists at Spire Clare Park Hospital.

A significant portion of the theatre capacity at Spire Clare Park remains allocated for NHS waiting list work. However we continue to work hard with Spire Clare Park Hospital in order to book theatre time as it becomes available.

For any patient having an endoscopic or surgical procedure, the current guidance is that you will be required to have a COVID swab 72hrs prior to your procedure and advised to isolate from that point. There are no requirements to isolate post procedure. These guidelines are however constantly changing and you will be advised by the pre operative team at the hospital of the exact requirements once your booking has been made.

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze

Put used tissues in the bin immediately

Wash your hands wth soap and water often – use and sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available

Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need medical help and advise you what to do

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. Call 111 if you need to speak to someone

Apologies for any inconvenience caused yesterday if you were trying to call us, storm Ciara resulted in a very large branch to fall of a tree and break our telephone line. However all repaired and up and running now so please do give us a call on 01252 783929 of you need to make an appointment to see Mr Singh.

Fingers crossed that storm Dennis which is predicated to hit the UK over the weekend will not cause us any further damage!
