If your procedure has been straightforward and you have had an uncomplicated recovery it might be possible to have a video call follow up consultation. This may be particularly useful if you live /work abroad and have returned to see Mr Singh in the UK for treatment.

The British Hernia Society has published guidelines which recommends the use of laparoscopic surgery for both bilateral (hernias both sides) or recurrent (previously open repaired) hernias. It is important that, if you have hernias both sides or have previously had a repair and need a repeat repair, you see a surgeon who is able to do laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. Mr Singh has over 20 years experience in this area and is happy to advise.
